Look Across the Waters

“When it seems like the storm is the only entity that cradles you… Look across and upon the waters… Your saviour walks…” – Chatterton, S.A (2014)

I had recently been so tired from work and other responsibilities, however it seemed like the only kind of rest that existed for me was my inhale and exhale and even at one point that became difficult!

I needed a break! I needed a breather!
I needed peace…

Then I was reminded… My saviour walks upon the waters that trouble me and commands them to be still… Just for me… Just for me…

Sigh… I’m so thankful.

My heart to YOU:

Jesus has you! Let Him calm your storm! You may be one that thinks about everything and everyone else but yourself and one that has a trillion ideas and thoughts and tries to execute them all at once! My lovely you really are not alone. My heart to you is that you restttttttttt, WITHOUT feeling guilty.

We are only human and God graces us to do the things that He wants done not what WE think needs doing.

We are ALLOWED! To rest. If you’re anything like me psshhh! That statement was probably a hard one to swallow… But it’s true…

The Word tells us that The Lord gives sleep to His beloved (Psalm 127:2) we are his beloved so let’s rest.

Let’s get on our faces before The Lord and hand over our super hero suit. As much as I try to be Super-Wonder Woman… I fail lol… Then I get frustrated with myself! ohhh it’s such an unnecessary mess lol.

Im learning to deflate before The Lord, I’m learning to get vulnerable before The Lord.

I’m learning to Let Go… And Let God… Sigh…For real this time…

Join me. X

I love you.

Jesus loves you more.
