Hello Lovelies!

I hope you’re all well and basking in the afterglow of Valentine’s Day, surrounded by the warmth of love and affection. Apologies for my delayed update! Life has been life-ing as the young say! I couldn’t go into a new week without sharing!

Valentine’s Day this year was not like the other years prior. My husband and I decided to embrace the simplicity of staying home, turning our humble abode into a sanctuary of love and togetherness. Whilst everyone it seemed were glorifying extravagant gestures and grandiose displays of affection, we actually found solace in the quiet beauty of a cozy evening spent in each other’s company.

We snuggled up on the couch(that I desperately want to change lol) then we decided we wanted to stay in the guest room with the fire stick haha. We exchanged stories, we laughed, we spoke about the future. I loved it. It was simple. And I loved this.

It was definitely a time of reflection, gratitude, and unwavering faith in the power of love to overcome any obstacle.

Of course, no cozy night in would be complete without indulging in some gooood food! No complaints there lol.

In the quiet moments between nibbles, we spoke words of affirmation and encouragement, lifting each other up and speaking life into one another. It was needed. Couple weeks prior had been a stretch for both of us. So the exhale and intimacy was needed.

I love that love knows no bounds – it transcends time, distance, and circumstance and can be showed and shared outside of the 14th of February. I remember that Jesus’ love has no bounds. He loves you. God loves you so much that He gave Jesus to us to reconcile us back to God, give us a fearless towards death because He defeated is for us if we believe. Wow thank God for the gospel! the greatest love story!

So here’s to you! – I hope your Valentine’s Day was filled with moments of love, joy, and connection. And as we journey forward, may we continue to cherish the sweetness of home, speaking life and faith into each other’s hearts, making every day a celebration of love.

Until next time, keep spreading love like confetti! *happy excited jiggle wiggle dances*

Lots of Love,

Andrea
